Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP); investigation of deaths.

Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. Requiresthe Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to take certain actionsupon the finding that an individual died from Sudden Unexpected Deathin Epilepsy (SUDEP). The bill directs the Office of the Chief MedicalExaminer to publish information on SUDEP and a SUDEP death investigationform on its website. Additionally, the bill requires the Chief MedicalExaminer and local medical examiners to complete training providedby The Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia. The bill has a delayed effectivedate of January 1, 2023.

Stormwater systems; impact of flooding, report.

Department of Environmental Quality; inventoryof stormwater systems in the Commonwealth; impact of flooding; report.Directs the Department of Environmental Quality, in cooperation withthe Department of Conservation and Recreation and local and regionalgovernments, to (i) inventory and compile a master list of stormwatersystems in the Commonwealth and (ii) review and document the impactof flooding on such systems. The bill requires the Department ofEnvironmental Quality to report the master list and the result ofits review to the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resourcesand the Chairmen of the House Committee on Agriculture, Chesapeakeand Natural Resources and the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Conservationand Natural Resources by December 1, 2022.

Makes the enforcement of regulations for common interest communitymanagers the sole responsibility of the Common Interest CommunityBoard. Current law delegates the enforcement of these regulationsto the Real Estate Board for real estate brokers, real estate salespersons,and real estate brokerage firms who are also licensed as common interestcommunity managers.

Larceny of a catalytic converter; penalty.

Larceny of a catalytic converter; penalty. Provides that any person who conspires, confederates, or combines with another to commit larceny or counsels, assists, aids, or abets another in the performance of a larceny of a catalytic converter from a motor vehicle where the value of such catalytic converter is less than $1,000 is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. This bill was incorporated into SB 729.
