Virginia Public Procurement Act; small purchases.

Virginia Public Procurement Act; small purchases. Increases from $100,000 to $200,000 the small purchases exemption under the Virginia Public Procurement Act for single or term contracts for goods and services other than professional services. The bill also removes outdated provisions related to informal solicitations required to be posted on the Department of General Services' central electronic procurement website. This bill is identical to SB 650.

Certified sexual assault nurse examiners; Secretary of HHR to study shortage.

Secretary of Health and Human Resources; task force; shortage of certified sexual assault nurse examiners in the Commonwealth; report. Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Resources to establish a task force to study the shortage of certified sexual assault nurse examiners in the Commonwealth. The task force shall report its findings and conclusions, together with specific recommendations for legislative, regulatory, and budgetary actions, to the Governor and the General Assembly by December 1, 2020.
