Home Front Energy Independence Act

Home Front Energy Independence Act This bill prohibits the importation of petroleum and petroleum products from Russia until Russia recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The bill allows a new tax credit for the sale or blending of ethanol fuels. It also extends through 2025 the income tax credit for biodiesel and renewable diesel used as fuel. The bill modifies requirements relating to the waiver of ethanol reid vapor pressure limitations and E15 labeling. The bill requires the Department of Agriculture to award grants to certain governmental entities for expanding the biofuel infrastructure and agriculture product market.

A bill to provide security assistance for Ukraine, and for other purposes.

This bill authorizes the Department of Defense to provide security assistance, including defense articles and services, to Ukraine or a NATO member country, to assist in the recipient country's defense of its territorial integrity. The authority to provide such assistance shall terminate on December 31, 2022.

Advocacy Empowerment Act of 2022

Advocacy Empowerment Act of 2022 This bill revises the duties of the Chief Counsel for Advocacy of the Small Business Administration to include (1) issuing, modifying, or amending rules governing federal agency compliance with regulatory flexibility analysis requirements; and (2) authorizing an agency to issue such supplemental rules governing such compliance as the Chief Counsel may approve.

United States Enrichment Corporation Fund Termination and Transfer Act

United States Enrichment Corporation Fund Termination and Transfer Act This bill terminates the U.S. Enrichment Corporation (USEC) Fund and rescinds all amounts currently in the fund. The fund was established to assist the USEC, a government corporation, with providing uranium enrichment services for the federal government and utilities that operate nuclear power plants. USEC was privatized in 1998, thus eliminating the need for the fund.
