Teachers and School LEADERS Act of 2021

Teachers and School Leaders need Education And Development to be Empowered Resources in Schools Act of 2021 or the Teachers and School LEADERS Act of 2021 This bill reauthorizes through FY2027 and otherwise revises the Teacher Quality Partnership program. This grant program provides training and professional development opportunities for prospective and new teachers through partnerships between (1) high-need school districts, schools, or early childhood education programs; and (2) institutions of higher education. Specifically, the bill expands the program to include training and professional development opportunities for principals and other school leaders. In addition, the bill expands the types of entities that qualify as partners to high-need schools or programs to include entities that are educational organizations, entities operating programs that provide alternative routes to state certification of teachers or school leaders, or educational service agencies.

Dustoff Crews of the Vietnam War Congressional Gold Medal Act

Dustoff Crews of the Vietnam War Congressional Gold Medal Act This bill provides for the award of a single Congressional Gold Medal to Dustoff crews (helicopter air ambulance crews) of the Vietnam War in recognition of their heroic military service.

This resolution designates August 2021 as National Catfish Month. It also recognizes (1) the contributions of all workers, past and present, that produce, process, and provide catfish for the people of the United States; and (2) that purchasing U.S. farm-raised catfish supports farmers, jobs, and the economy of the United States.

Office for Access to Justice Establishment Act of 2021

Office for Access to Justice Establishment Act of 2021 This bill establishes the Office for Access to Justice within the Department of Justice (DOJ) to advise on matters relating to justice for low-income and other underrepresented people in the criminal and civil justice systems. Additionally, DOJ must establish a Legal Aid Interagency Roundtable to raise the awareness of executive branch agencies of the ways in which civil legal aid and indigent defense can help advance federal objectives, including those related to employment, family stability, housing, consumer protection, health services, and public safety.

Exposing Agricultural Trade Suppression Act

Exposing Agricultural Trade Suppression Act This bill restricts state and local governments from imposing certain standards or conditions on the production or manufacture of agricultural products sold or offered for sale in interstate commerce. Specifically, it prohibits the imposition of such standards or conditions if (1) the production or manufacture occurs in another state, and (2) the standard or condition adds to requirements applicable under federal law and the laws of the state or locality where the product is produced or manufactured. The bill also allows for a private right of action to challenge state or local regulations relating to agricultural goods sold in interstate commerce. A person may bring an action in (1) the U.S. district court for the judicial district in which the person is affected by a regulation or the person resides, operates, or does business; or (2) any other appropriate court with jurisdiction.

September 11 Transparency Act of 2021

September 11 Transparency Act of 2021 This bill requires declassification reviews of certain documents related to investigations into the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, and the Central Intelligence Agency must complete reviews of certain documents by deadlines specified in the bill.

A bill to designate high priority corridors on the National Highway System, and for other purposes.

This bill expands and designates high priority corridors on the National Highway System. Specifically, the bill designates the Central Louisiana Corridor, the Central Mississippi Corridor, the Middle Alabama Corridor, and the Middle Georgia Corridor as high priority corridors on the system; and expands Interstate Route I-14 within the Central Texas Corridor, the Central Louisiana Corridor, the Central Mississippi Corridor, the Middle Alabama Corridor, and the Middle Georgia Corridor.
