Maddy summaryThis bill requires certain nonprofit organizations in Tennessee to disclose their donor lists if asked by specific government officials. The law applies to nonprofits that have signed agreements with district attorneys regarding cash bail policies. A county legislative body or a state lawmaker can request this information by submitting a written request. The organizations must provide a list of all donors from the previous calendar year if the request is made. This change affects how these nonprofits report financial contributions to local and state authorities.
