Firearms and Ammunition - As introduced, creates the Class E felony offense of purchasing, selling, possessing, or using a part, component, device, or attachment designed to accelerate the fire of a semi-automatic rifle and makes any semi-automatic rifle that includes an accelerated fire part, component, or device a prohibited weapon. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 54; Section 38-3-119 and Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.

Tickets, Admission - As introduced, prohibits a ticket vendor from charging additional fees for the sale of a ticket that exceed 15 percent of the face value of the ticket; requires a ticket vendor to disclose the face value of the ticket, the cost of additional mandatory fees, the cost of additional fees charged by the ticket vendor, and the total cost of the ticket, to the consumer; specifies that a violation constitutes an unfair or deceptive act or practice, subject to penalties and remedies under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act of 1977. - Amends TCA Title 29; Title 39; Title 47; Title 48 and Title 67.

Local Education Agencies - As introduced, removes retention requirements for students who did not achieve a certain performance level rating on the English language arts portion of the student's most recent Tennessee comprehensive assessment program test; authorizes an LEA or charter school to retain or promote a student who has not shown a basic understanding of the curriculum and an ability to perform the skills required in the subject of reading, as determined by the LEA or charter school; requires LEAs and charter schools to develop a retention policy for such students and to implement the policy beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. - Amends TCA Title 49.

Schools, Charter - As introduced, requires the governing body of a public charter school to submit the proposed compensation of a member of its licensed administrative or supervisory staff to its authorizer for approval if the proposed compensation exceeds 150 percent of the average statewide compensation of LEA licensed administrative and supervisory staff according to the position held and training and experience compiled for each school year by the comptroller. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 13.
