SB 1995: Pensions and Retirement Benefits - As enacted, under certain conditions, authorizes a member of the Tennessee consolidated retirement system who has been elected or appointed as a member of a city or county board on or after January 1, 2012, and who simultaneously holds that position and another position with a different employer as a retirement system member, to continue service in the elected or appointed board member position while receiving a retirement allowance. - Amends TCA Section 8-35-226.

SB 1916: Campaigns and Campaign Finance - As introduced, allows a candidate for a state or local campaign to transfer unused funds to a federal campaign account for a primary election if the candidate notifies each donor of the proposed transfer and a donor does not object to the transfer within 30 days of the notification; requires the funds donated by donors who object to the transfer to be returned to the donor. - Amends TCA Title 2, Chapter 10.
