HB 2515: Boards and Commissions - As introduced, requires each professional board to create a remediation subcommittee for the purpose of offering a licensee, who has been cited for a licensure violation, the option to have the licensure violation remediated prior to the board applying penalties to, or suspending or revoking the license of, the cited licensee. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 62 and Title 63.

HB 2479: Pensions and Retirement Benefits - As introduced, authorizes Tennessee consolidated retirement system members who deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, or Operation Iraqi Freedom to receive military service credit in TCRS for each day of deployment; authorizes TCRS members who performed peacetime military service at any time between May 8, 1975, and August 1, 1990, to receive retirement credit for that service subject to a contribution requirement. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 34; Title 8, Chapter 35 and Title 8, Chapter 36.

SB 2169: Judges and Chancellors - As introduced, authorizes former Tennessee justice or judge who has practiced law for at least 25 years and who has at least one year of service as justice or judge to be designated as senior justice or judge; requires appointments and renewals of senior judges to be approved by joint meeting of senate judiciary committee and civil and criminal justice committees of the house of representatives. - Amends TCA Title 2 and Title 17.
