Amends the examination requirements for a hoisting engineers license.
Changes the fine for any person convicted of a first violation of this chapter from $85 to $200, and increases the period of time that the violator may be ordered to pick up litter.
Amends the law relating to casino crimes to be consistent with the advent of iGaming and the relevant age restrictions to participate in iGaming.
Requires DCYF to prepare an annual report of all findings of suspected and/or verified violations of this chapter and share report on its website and to members of the general assembly.
Establishes a second avenue of qualification as an optician, to include successfully completing an apprenticeship program.
Provides that the Interlocal Risk Management trust would be subject to the department of business regulation and the attorney general conducting investigations of trust practices in the areas of health insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
Modifies the summons for eviction for reasons other than nonpayment of rent with the district court, to add a certificate of service section, and provides the option to post the summons/complaint conspicuously on door of the defendant/tenant's dwelling.
