Eliminates the requirement of paying reinstatement fees to restore a person's right to drive.
Establishes the Rhode Island low-income housing improvement tax credit program providing tax credits for a period of five (5) years to applicants that are competitively selected and that meet the requirements of this chapter.
Imposes requirements on a managed care organization (MCO) and pharmacy benefit manger (PBM) in order to control Medicaid prescription drug prices.
Requires that the school housing aid ratio shall be increased by ten percent (10%) for projects that ensure Rhode Island based minority business enterprises reach a minimum of twenty percent (20%) of the dollar value of the bid.
Provides employees with civil administrative remedies against contractors, subcontractors involved in the contract with joint/severable liability imposed on contractors or subcontractors. Effective 9/1/2024.
Permits other residents of residential dwelling unit to extend term of rental agreement for 3 months after death of lessee, however it would not permit temporary tenant to permanent tenancy or rental assistance if transfer of benefits conflicts with law.
Ensures that independent pharmacies are protected from pharmacy benefit discrimination toward non-affiliated pharmacies and helps protect consumers' ability to choose local, independent pharmacies.
Requires single-family residential zoning in municipalities with populations of over 20,000 to allow middle housing and mandates that those municipalities adopt zoning regulations for middle housing.
