Prohibits a person from raising octopus for the purpose of human consumption or participating in the sale or offer for sale of octopus that was raised for human consumption.
Prohibits distributing, selling, attempting to sell or offering to sell flavored inhalant delivery system products or flavored tobacco products in this state. Defines "flavored inhalant delivery system product" and "flavored tobacco product." Prohibits distributing, offering or providing, without compensation, any tobacco product or inhalant delivery system. Requires any sale of cigarettes, inhalant delivery systems or smokeless tobacco products to occur at licensed premises. Authorizes local governments to adopt regulations that are stricter than state law on the sale of inhalant delivery system products or tobacco products. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
Allows a worker to receive permanent disability payments and complete the appeal of a notice of closure while engaged in training. Allows the redetermination of a worker's permanent total disability compensation after ceasing to engage in training. Allows a worker to postpone the selection of a training program and engagement in the program until after claim closure becomes final.
Changes the requirements to qualify for the Oregon Promise program by removing the requirement that a person must receive the person's highest level of education six months prior to enrolling in a community college, removing the requirement that a person must complete high school in this state, removing the requirement that a person must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better in high school and specifying that a person may qualify by enrolling in a program to earn an applied baccalaureate degree or a Bachelor of Science: Nursing degree.
Prohibits the distribution or sale of certain covered products that contain intentionally added perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances. Requires a manufacturer of covered products to provide a certificate of compliance to persons that sell or distribute covered products in this state. Authorizes the Attorney General to investigate and bring an action to obtain an injunction or a civil penalty for violations of the Act. Becomes operative on January 1, 2027.
Directs the State Department of Fish and Wildlife to establish a Wildlife Stewardship Program. Directs the department to administer a grant program to support licensed wildlife rehabilitation centers. Appropriates moneys to the department, out of the General Fund, for purposes of the grant program.
