Relating to credit for periods of disability under the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan; declaring an emergency.

Provides hours of service credit for vesting purposes and retirement credit to member of Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan who receives workers' compensation disability payments and subsequently is reemployed by any participating public employer. Declares emergency, effective on passage.

Relating to school nurses; declaring an emergency.

Directs Department of Education to establish program to develop and maintain statewide school nursing services. Allows State Board of Education to adopt rules for program. Directs Oregon Health Authority to ensure care provided to students by school nurses is reimbursed by state plan for medical assistance. Appropriates moneys to Department of Education for purposes of program. Becomes operative on January 1, 2018. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
