Authorizes self-service dispensing of Class 1 flammable liquids at retail dispensary.
Requires Higher Education Coordinating Commission to design question allowing each student to identify whether student is parent or person acting as parent or legal guardian that will be placed on all forms used ] one or more forms used on annual basis to collect demographic information by public post-secondary institutions of education. Requires each public post-secondary institution of education to make data available to commission. Requires commission to establish format and time frame for collection and reporting of demographic data, to evaluate public post-secondary institution of education compliance with collecting and providing data and to report to each regular session of Legislative Assembly on status of collecting and providing data.
Creates income tax credit for attendance by taxpayer dependent of private school, home school or virtual public charter school. Applies to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2020. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Supports development of closed-loop pump storage projects. Encourages Oregon utilities to use closed-loop pump storage.
Clarifies that Oregon vehicle dealers selling or trading otherwise taxable motor vehicles to other Oregon vehicle dealers for resale are not liable for motor vehicle dealer privilege tax on such sales or trades. Provides that such vehicle dealers are exempt from requirement of obtaining resale certificate to prove sale or trade is exempt from privilege tax. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
Modifies list of entities for which links must be provided on Oregon transparency website. Clarifies duties of State Chief Information Officer. Grants State Chief Information Officer authority to adopt rules necessary for administration of Oregon transparency website.
