Relating to a prevailing rate of wage for electrical workers; prescribing an effective date.

Provides that, for purpose of specifying prevailing rate of wage for electrical workers, locality is geographical area within which each local union is exclusive representative for local union's membership, and collective bargaining agreement is collective bargaining agreement to which local union is party. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.

Relating to warranties for consumer products sold or leased in this state.

Provides that sales or leases of consumer products in this state occur subject to implied warranty of merchantability and, as appropriate, to implied warranty of fitness unless supplier sells or leases consumer product as is with required disclosures. Provides that buyer may not waive implied warranty. Permits manufacturer to provide express warranty. Specifies conditions to which express warranty is subject, disclosures required and remedies for buyer.

Relating to protections from debt collection; prescribing an effective date.

Specifies property and funds of judgment debtor that are exempt from execution or garnishment. Permits plaintiff to bring action, including class action, for unlawful debt collection practice within six years after discovering unlawful practice and increases amount of recoverable statutory damages. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.

Relating to pharmacy benefit managers.

Requires pharmacy benefit managers to annually report specified information to Department of Consumer and Business Services, including costs and rebates of prescription drugs for enrollees. Authorizes civil penalty, or refusal, revocation or suspension of registration, for failing to comply with reporting requirements.

Relating to pharmacy benefit managers.

Prohibits pharmacy benefit manager, after adjudication of and payment on claim for reimbursement of prescription drug, from recouping reimbursement paid except as part of routine audit, or from imposing retroactive fee on basis that was not determined when claim was adjudicated.

Relating to local journalism.

Creates tax credit for contributions to publisher of local journalistic publication. ] Applies to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2024, and before January 1, 2028. ] Directs Oregon Department of Administrative Services to issue one-time ] grants for purposes related to supporting Oregonians' local news and information needs ] to specified recipients . Directs recipients to convene work group to carry out specified duties related to local journalism. Sunsets January 2, 2026.
