Establishes the agrivoltaics viability pilot program within the farmland viability program to provide grants to identify the best practices and strategies for dual-use solar energy projects that protect soil health during construction and decommissioning of solar arrays, utilize sustainable agricultural production practices, monitor any benefits solar energy may have on farms and to the state, track economic viability, study the commercialization of dual-use solar energy projects, and encourage equitable engagement of stakeholders.
Designates, as peace officers, public safety officers of the Chautauqua Institution within the grounds of and properties owned by the Chautauqua Institution.
Allows the granting of academic credit at state or city operated institutions to veterans.
Establishes a temporary New York craft beverage permit for all New York state manufactured liquor, spirits, wine, beer, cider and mead for events located in a municipality with a population of less than one million.
Provides a one-year payroll tax credit for compensation of journalists; sets a maximum amount of the credit for journalist employers and a maximum amount of the credit statewide; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof.
Designates the portion of state route 60 between Shumla Road and Lakeview Road in the town of Stockton, county of Chautauqua, as the "Emma Wilcox Memorial Highway".
