Establishes the mothers and infants lasting change ("MILC") allowance to provide income to eligible participants for the last three months of pregnancy and the first 18 months of the child's life; excludes income received from the MILC allowance for purposes of supplemental nutrition assistance program eligibility.
Enacts the safer consumption services pilot program act which provides for the establishment of a pilot program to provide overdose prevention center pilot programs.
Provides for findings of the state board of parole necessary for discretionary release of incarcerated individuals on parole.
Requires the consideration of complete street design for certain transportation projects which receive federal or state funding; authorizes the department to compile and make publicly available guidance and reference material related to consideration of complete street design.
Provides for paid family leave after a stillbirth.
Requires a personal use pharmaceutical disposal system be provided at the time of dispensing an opioid prescription at no cost to the ultimate user of such prescribed opioid.
Relates to decreasing the length of the suspension period applicable to certain individuals who lose their jobs due to a labor dispute, such as a strike, and who seek to obtain unemployment insurance benefits; decreases the suspension period from two consecutive weeks to one week; provides that the waiting period and suspension period shall be served concurrently.
Includes extreme winter weather preparedness in local comprehensive emergency management plans; updates the definition of "disaster".
Requires accessible buses to be available within a service area measuring three miles from any bus line of the authority or its subsidiaries.
