Establishes a task force on educator diversity in New York state to study the presence of educator diversity.
Relates to prohibiting the exclusion of coverage for losses or damages caused by exposure to lead-based paint; provides that no insurer licensed or permitted by the superintendent to provide liability coverage to rental property owners shall exclude coverage for losses or damages caused by exposure to lead-based paint.
Establishes a tax credit for individuals who serve or are employed as a direct support professional, or direct care worker, up to five thousand dollars for taxpayers who make less than fifty thousand dollars and phased out for individuals who make over one hundred thousand dollars.
Provides mental telehealth services to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Relates to establishing the housing access voucher program; provides that the commissioner of the division of housing and community renewal shall implement a program of rental assistance in the form of housing vouchers for eligible individuals and families who are homeless or who face an imminent loss of housing; provides that the commissioner shall designate housing access voucher local administrators in the state to administer the program.
Relates to small business savings accounts; provides tax incentives for contributions and distributions.
Allows for an emergency medical technician to act as a designated camp health director or to provide health services in assistance to the camp health director at children's camps and camps for children with developmental disabilities; allows for children's camps and camps for children with developmental disabilities to contract with licensed medical professionals to provide professional services during any period in which the camp has a valid permit to operate.
Establishes a Black youth suicide prevention task force; provides for the number of members, manner of appointment and the topics to be reviewed.
