Prohibits certain sex offenders from residing near school grounds

Prohibits certain sex offenders from residing within 1,350 feet of school grounds, except that in cities having a population of one million or more, no such sex offender may reside within 500 feet of school grounds; a violation thereof shall be a class C felony.

Relates to the New York state science, technology, engineering and mathematics incentive program

Extends scholarship eligibility for certain scholarships to students who have a certificate of graduation from a recognized high school within New York state from the two thousand thirteen--fourteen school year or after, or the recognized equivalent of such certificate, or received a passing score on a federally approved ability to benefit test that has been identified by the board of regents as satisfying the eligibility requirements and has been independently administered and evaluated as defined by the commissioner of education.

Creates the crime of stalking a police officer or peace officer

Creates the crime of stalking a police officer or peace officer when a person intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, engages in a course of conduct directed at a specific police officer, peace officer or a person who he or she knows or reasonably should know is a member of such officer's immediate family, and knows or reasonably should know that such conduct is likely to cause reasonable fear of material harm to the physical health, safety or property of such officer or member of such officer's immediate family; makes stalking a police officer or peace officer a class E felony; requires the posting of bail; makes related provisions.

Relates to crediting any on-premises licensees or any manufacturing licensee with on-premises retail privileges for each day they were unable to operate due to COVID-19

Credits any on-premises licensees or any manufacturing licensee with on-premises retail privileges for each day they were unable to operate due to COVID-19; provides that such credits shall be used for such licensee's license renewal; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof.
