Provides for regulations to require general hospitals to allow personal caregiving visitors for patients.
Establishes the "office of the caregiving economy", for the purpose of promoting and supporting the state's caregiving needs by developing the caregiving economy in the state.
Requires landlords to ensure rental properties are equipped with utility services prior to renting such properties; requires landlords to keep utility services connected in between tenants.
Relates to school district officers required to complete certain training to acquaint such officer with the powers, functions and duties of boards of education; relates to topics to be included in such training.
Requires the secretary of state to offer code enforcement training programs for code enforcement personnel to be completed online, with flexible options for when such training programs may be completed.
Relates to returnable bottles; adds wine, liquor, distilled spirit coolers, and cider and wine products to the definition of "beverage"; provides that beginning April 1, 2025, the handling fee will be six cents for each beverage container accepted by a deposit initiator from a dealer or operator of a redemption center.
Requires applicants for major projects located near a disadvantaged community to submit an enhanced public participation plan.
