Provides that if the person or business providing the notification was the source of the breach, an offer to provide appropriate identity theft prevention and mitigation services, shall be provided at no cost to the affected person for not less than 12 months, along with all information necessary to take advantage of the offer to any person whose information was or may have been breached if the breach exposed or may have exposed personal information.
Requires single-use beverage containers to be manufactured with seventy-five percent recycled materials for sale in the state.
Relates to increasing the fines associated with passing a stopped school bus by commercial motor vehicles.
Removes the exemption for restaurants, taverns or similar food service establishments from the New York state bag waste reduction act.
Provides for a review process of proposals to alienate municipal parkland; requires replacement lands to be of similar or greater acreage and fair market value than the parcel to be alienated and that the proposed review contain a discussion of the replacement parkland's proximity to the parkland being alienated; makes related provisions.
Adds additional factors to be considered when determining if a child safety zone should be considered hazardous.
Relates to establishing a job creation tax credit; provides that the amount of the credit shall be six percent of the total amount of wages paid to the qualified employee during the employee's first six months of employment and if the qualified employee was receiving unemployment insurance benefits at the time of hire for a minimum of thirteen weeks or is employed directly in the manufacturing process in an eligible industry, the amount of the credit shall be twelve percent of the total amount of wages paid to the qualified employee during the employee's first six months of employment; caps the credit at $750 for any qualified employee and $1500 for any qualified employee who was receiving unemployment insurance benefits at the time of hire for a minimum of thirteen weeks or who is employed directly in the manufacturing process in an eligible industry.
Relates to instituting internet service neutrality; provides the public service commission with jurisdiction over monitoring broadband internet service providers; requires a certification for internet service neutrality in certain state contracts.
Authorizes Greene county to enter into an agreement with a contiguous county to share the construction, financing, improvement, maintenance and/or housing of persons in the custody of the sheriff of a county jail.
