Requires court of appeals judges to recuse themselves from serving as a juror during an impeachment trial of a governor that appointed them.
Establishes the COVID-19 childcare provider reimbursement program in order to incentivize providers to re-open or expand current childcare programs; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof.
Provides that where the governor suspends provisions relating to approval of certain contracts by state agencies, the comptroller shall review emergency contracts above a set threshold amount and submit a report to the chairs and ranking minority members of the senate finance committee and the assembly ways and means committee on such emergency contracts, noting any concerns and recommendations, within fourteen days of the submission of such emergency contract.
Relates to treatment of domestic violence victims and documentation of injury and evidence; requires collection and storage of evidence and prohibits agencies from charging domestic violence victims.
Provides an income tax credit up to one hundred dollars for obedience training for dogs adopted from a qualifying animal shelter.
