Provides for automatic sealing of certain convictions after a certain passage of time from either imposition of sentence, release from parole or probation, and if the defendant does not have a current charge pending; excludes certain offenses; permits access by certain persons.
Establishes the New York state office of civil representation to provide access to legal services in eviction proceedings; requires that eligible individuals be given notice of their ability to obtain legal representation or legal consultation.
Relates to strengthening of utility storm response and compliance by reviewing mitigating factors including but not limited to mitigating factors and the specifics surrounding the violation or violations.
Relates to citizen review panels being established in each region of the state in accordance with section two hundred thirty of the economic development law.
Relates to construction of voting machines and systems.
Prohibits and regulates the discovery and disclosure of immigration status; prohibits police officers, peace officers, school resource officers, probation agencies, state entities, state employees, and municipal corporations from questioning individuals regarding their citizenship or immigration status; regulates the disclosure of information relating to immigration status.
Extends the village of Mamaroneck occupancy tax for three years.
Extends the village of Rye Brook occupancy tax until September 1, 2025.
Extends the village of Port Chester occupancy tax until December 31, 2025.
