Allows a tax exemption for taxpayers in the amount of the purchase price of a fire extinguisher, fire alarm, heat alarm or carbon monoxide alarm purchased for residential use during the month of October.
Relates to an increase in punishment for certain actions against on-duty auxiliary police officers such as criminally negligent homicide, assault or menacing of such officer.
Prohibits certain lobbyists from engaging in political consulting for state public officials or candidates for state office, and prohibits political consultants or anyone they are affiliated with from lobbying state officers; requires election financial disclosure statements to include a listing of all political consulting services provided to a campaign.
Relates to the creation of home stability support supplement programs.
Requires video cameras to be placed on the entrances/exits of all facilities run by the office for people with developmental disabilities.
Relates to the adjudication of parking infractions.
Relates to creating mandatory training and qualifications of persons engaged in the construction and demolition of buildings; defines apprentice, apprenticeship program and bona fide construction site safety training program.
Provides for a disability benefit for employees of the New York city transit authority, and its subsidiary corporations, who are disabled by reason of an assault sustained in the course of employment.
