Requires the New York city department of buildings to confirm that there are no tenants living at certain properties prior to approving or issuing permits for the demolition or the substantial alteration or renovation of such properties.
Requires facilities offering dialysis services to have an alternate generated power source for use during a general power outage or disaster emergency.
Extends paid family leave benefits to employees who perform construction, demolition, reconstruction, excavation, rehabilitation, repairs, renovations, alterations, or improvements for multiple employers pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement who shall be eligible for family leave benefits if they were employed for at least twenty-six of the last thirty-nine weeks by any covered employer which is signatory to a collective bargaining agreement.
Prohibits a landlord from interfering with the installation of telephone corporation facilities upon his or her property or premises and otherwise limiting tenants access to telephone services.
