Requires certain perils be covered under business interruption insurance during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Provides that the rate of interest on money judgments in actions involving consumer credit transactions shall be calculated at the one-year United States treasury bill rate.
Establishes the Emergency Coronavirus Affordable Housing Preservation Act of 2020 to implement protections to reduce the harm to New York residents and ensure safe, decent, sanitary, affordable housing and financial stability during the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19, crisis and all other public emergencies.
Establishes the aging in place task force, and provides for its powers and duties.
Relates to requiring certain employers to provide workforce demographics and equity measurements to the division of human rights annually, including each employee's race, ethnicity, age, and sex or gender identity or expression, as well as the employee's job category, date of hire, salary or wages, training received, raises, promotions, discliplinary actions, terminations and benefits, including but not limited to unpaid benefits or privileges such as flexible scheduling, the ability to work from home, or the ability to bring children to work.
Requires that all felony offenders shall be eligible for parole after serving no more than twenty-five years of their sentence and eliminates the possibility of serving consecutive terms of imprisonment which exceed a twenty-five year sentence.
Directs the department of social services to establish a centralized homelessness crisis response data system through which state agencies, local governmental entities, including law enforcement agencies, court systems, school districts, and emergency service providers, and other relevant persons are able to share and access information related to individuals who experience chronic homelessness in order to connect or refer such individuals to services including affordable housing opportunities.
Requires a report on the death and circumstances of an inmate to be sent to the governor, the chairman of the assembly committee on correction and the chairman of the senate committee on crime victims, crime and correction.
Modifies the standard of evidence and certain other procedures when determining whether to revoke the community supervision of a person.
