Relates to bicycles with electronic assist and electric scooters; defines terms; provides that every person riding an electric scooter upon a roadway shall be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle; makes related provisions.

Directs a study on the impact of increased minimum wage on eligibility for income based services, programs and subsidies

Directs the commissioner of the department of labor, in consultation with the commissioners of the office of temporary and disability assistance, the department of health, the office of children and family services, and the department of taxation and finance to conduct a study on the impact that the increase in minimum wage has or will have on the eligibility of the working poor to receive certain income-based programs, subsidies and services.

Enacts the residential structure fire prevention act of 2019

Enacts the residential structure fire prevention act of 2019; provides a tax credit to homeowners who remove cock loft fire hazards in their homes; provides an insurance discount for the installation of smoke detecting alarm devices in cock lofts; provides that the repair of cock lofts for the purpose of fire prevention and safety shall be qualifying expenditures under state housing programs.
