Enacts the "health insurance preauthorization disclosure act"; requires health insurance companies to provide participating health care providers with a list of health care treatments and services that require preauthorization from the health insurance company.
Establishes a uterine fibroids awareness and education program on the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids and the elevated risk for minority women.
Establishes the civil right to counsel in eviction proceedings in New York state; creates the New York state office of civil representation; requires that covered individuals be given notice of such right to counsel.
Relates to requiring the use of project labor agreements for large scale construction projects under the state university construction fund; provides an exception to such requirement may be granted; provides that the fund may require every contractor become party to a project labor agreement.
Authorizes a supreme court judge hearing a petition for an "extreme risk protection order" to also hear a petition for a regular order of protection pursuant to the criminal procedure law, the domestic relations law and/or the family court act.
Limits compensation of executives of charter schools to $199,000 where such compensation is provided through state funding.
Requires entities receiving state funding for workforce development purposes to annually file a report with the department of labor describing the number of individuals contacted, trained and hired by such entities and the status of such individuals at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months after hiring.
Requires electric vehicles, including motor vehicles, bicycles with electric assist and electric scooters, to have an automatic cutoff switch; defines automatic cutoff switch.
Requires standards for the new construction of electric vehicle charging stations to require such stations to have an external automatic cutoff switch.
Deems human remains to be abandoned if not acted upon within a certain period of time and authorizes the person in possession of such remains to dispose of them.
