Requires the commissioner of education to make recommendations to the board of regents relating to the adoption of age-appropriate instruction on dating violence for students in grades seven through twelve.
Prohibits the taking of non-native big game mammals in a fenced or other area from which there is no means for such mammal to escape.
Requires domestic violence and sexual assault awareness education for persons engaged in the practice of nail specialty, waxing, natural hair styling, esthetics and cosmetology and establishes such education programs.
Prohibits the use of pesticides at children's overnight or summer day camps; provides an exception where emergency application is approved by local or state officials.
Relates to licenses to purchase, store or use certain compounds; $50 fee.
Establishes the city of White Plains industrial development agency and provides for its functions, powers, and duties.
Relates to human trafficking awareness and training; requires employees of lodging facilities to have training in the recognition of a human trafficking victim; requires the division of criminal justice services, the office of temporary and disability assistance and the New York state interagency task force to approve a human trafficking recognition training program; requires the posting of information on the national human trafficking hotline telephone number.
Relates to establishing the paint stewardship program, minimizing the public sector involvement in the management of post-consumer paint, and negotiating agreements to collect, transport, reuse, recycle, and/or burn for energy recovery at an appropriately licensed facility post-consumer paint using environmentally sound management practices.
Relates to certain prohibitions in contracts or agreements by health maintenance organizations; prohibits clauses which entitle reimbursement at the lowest price or rate; prohibits contracts which restrict referral of patients based solely upon a health care provider's status with a managed care product; prohibits disclosure of an enrollee's diagnosis on a prescription as a condition for authorizing coverage for payment or dispensing of a prescription; and prohibits contracts which allow for the substitution of a pharmaceutical drug or agent by any person other than the prescribing health care professional.
Requires the surrender of antique firearms, black powder rifles, black powder shotguns, or muzzle-loading firearms following a conviction for a felony or serious offense or following a report pursuant to section 9.46 of the mental hygiene law.
