Entitles employees 45 years of age or older to take one day off every ten years to undergo a colonoscopy.
Relates to designating blighted property and blighted areas; establishes criteria for designation; provides definition of blighted property and blighted areas; amends definition of substandard or insanitary area by removing the words "slum" and "deteriorated or deteriorating".
Relates to annual teacher and principal evaluations; provides that in the event that a new evaluation system has not been adopted in accordance with the recommendations of the committee of experts as set forth in subdivision sixteen of section 3012-d of the education law by September 1, 2023, the date for compliance with the provisions of subpart E of part EE of chapter 56 of the laws of 2015, shall be suspended until such time that a new evaluation system is enacted.
Provides that a dental hygienist shall not administer local block anesthesia without a certificate and except under the personal supervision of a dentist and in conjunction with the performance of dental hygiene procedures authorized by law and in accordance with regulations promulgated by the commissioner.
Requires kindergarten instruction for Rockland and Westchester counties for minors who are five years of age on or before December first.
Requires the surrender of antique firearms, black powder rifles, black powder shotguns, or muzzle-loading firearms following a conviction for a felony or serious offense or following a report pursuant to section 9.46 of the mental hygiene law.
Relates to adding ammunition to the list of prohibited items to purchase or dispose of after certain convictions.
Relates to transportation of children by school districts to non-public schools; authorizes apportionment to cover 90%.
