Suspends mortgage payments for any individual in the state that has become unemployed or has been forced to close their place of business as a result of government ordered restrictions in response to the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and whose primary residence is a one, two or three family residential real property, including such dwellings used in part for nonresidential purposes but which are used primarily for residential purposes, including property held in cooperative or condominium forms of ownership for ninety days.
Modifies the standard of evidence and certain other procedures when determining whether to revoke the community supervision of a person.
Authorizes paid family leave for bereavement beginning in 2021.
Provides that the salary base for members of the city of New York fire department pension fund whose employment with the fire department of the city of New York commenced on or after July 1, 2000 shall be determined in the same manner as members whose employment commenced prior to such date.
Suspends all rent payments for certain residential tenants and small business commercial tenants if such tenant has lost employment or was forced to close their place of business and certain mortgage payments for landlords of such tenants in the state for ninety days following the effective date of this act in response to the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Relates to rescue inhaler treatment devices.
Allows businesses to use funds received from the minority- and women-owned business development and lending program for the purpose of refinancing existing debt.
Relates to establishing the housing access voucher program; provides that the commissioner of the division of housing and community renewal shall implement a program of rental assistance in the form of housing vouchers for eligible individuals and families who are homeless or who face an imminent loss of housing; provides that the commissioner shall designate public housing agencies in the state to administer the program.
