Limits exemptions from immunization requirements by local governments and private entities to medical exemptions; repeals religious exemptions for certain post-secondary students.
Enacts the "COVID-19 injured workers' protection act"; establishes a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) presumption for public employee death benefits where a member was required to physically report to work; did in fact physically report to work as of March first, two thousand twenty; contracted COVID-19; and where the applicable head of the member's retirement system or such system's medical board determines COVID-19 to have been a significant contributing factor in the member's death.
Requires mandatory arbitration clauses in certain consumer contracts to be disclosed and explained to the consumer.
Prohibits the use of gas-powered leaf and lawn blowers between May 1st and September 30th.
Establishes provisions requiring absentee ballots that do not have postmarked dates that are received in the mail by the board of elections within three days following the day of election to be cast and counted.
Extends the prohibition on the eviction of residential tenants who have suffered financial hardship during the COVID-19 covered period through April 15, 2022.
Prohibits upon the vacancy of an unsold condominium or cooperative dwelling unit, the rental of such unit unless the original offering plan provided for such rental and a majority of the members of the condominium or cooperative agree thereto; generally requires the sale of such units.
Provides that any person who has been injured by reason of any violation of any such rules, regulations or policies as the superintendent may promulgate may bring an action in his or her own name; assert a counterclaim; or, if an action is commenced by the mortgagee or anyone acting on its behalf, bring a third party claim, against either the mortgagee and/or the mortgage servicer to enjoin any violations thereof; authorizes damages; makes related provisions.
Prohibits recurring campaign donations without affirmative consent; provides that a candidate accepting a recurring contribution shall provide a receipt to the contributor disclosing the terms of the recurring contribution, provide all necessary information to cancel the recurring donation, and immediately cancel the recurring donation upon request.
