Maddy summaryBill A 8128 removes the specific funding cap for teacher resource and computer training centers within the New York City school district. Previously, these centers had a maximum state funding limit of $16.8 million. This bill amends the education law to eliminate that particular restriction, allowing these centers in New York City to receive state funds without a specified maximum amount. Other teacher resource and computer training centers across the state will continue to have a $2 million per-center funding cap.
