Directs the commissioner of health to do a comprehensive assessment of the existing methodology used to determine payment for early intervention screenings, evaluations, services and service coordination; directs recommendations on reimbursement methodology as well as needs under the program.
Allows a person who has suffered interference with the use and enjoyment of private property or public parkland by a rotorcraft used in a manner that creates an unreasonable level of noise at ground level to have a right of action against a person who caused or contributed to the use of such rotorcraft in such manner; relates to the use of certain heliports in the city of New York.
Provides for regulating immigration bail businesses including restrictions on who may operate such a business; provides for who may bring an action against an immigration bail business.
Directs the division of criminal justice services in consultation with the department of health, office of victim services, division of state police, and the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Abuse to develop and implement a statewide electronic tracking system for evidence collection kits used to collect and preserve evidence of a sexual assault or other sex offense.
Establishes the New York state office of civil representation to provide access to legal services in eviction proceedings; requires that eligible individuals be given notice of their ability to obtain legal representation or legal consultation.
Provides that a television series that changes the title of the series and/or the principal cast prior to March 31, 2023, shall be considered to remain in continuous production for each season, provided the series films at the same location as prior seasons, is produced by the same entity, and retains at least eighty percent of the staff from the prior season for purposes of being a qualified film for the empire state film production credit.
Relates to enacting the "New York collegiate athletic participation compensation act"; allows student-athletes to receive compensation including for the use of a student's name, image, or likeness; allows student-athletes to seek professional representation.
Relates to the dispensing of self-administered hormonal contraceptives; authorizes a licensed physician and a certified nurse practitioner to prescribe and order a non-patient specific regimen to a pharmacist licensed and located in the state for the dispensing of self-administered hormonal contraceptives.
Prohibits landlords, lessors, sub-lessors and grantors from demanding broker's fees from a tenant.
Requires the court to inquire of the defendant and the prosecutor as to the existence and location of any firearm, rifle or shotgun reasonably believed to be owned or possessed by the defendant, and the prosecutor will make reasonable efforts to obtain such information regarding the same and present it to the court.
