Requires the installation and use of surveillance cameras in all racetracks; cameras shall be capable of monitoring human and equine traffic in and out of individual stalls, barns and surrounding areas; video footage shall be available for review for no less than three years from the date of surveillance.
Relates to protecting wildlife and maintaining safety; necessitates written notification before a nuisance wildlife control operator undertakes any control measures.
Requires the MTA to hold hearings in each county affected by proposed fare increases, major reductions of transportation and/or major service changes; does not apply to standard seasonal or holiday adjustments, temporary changes due to routine maintenance and/or temporary changes in response to emergency situations; requires the authority to hold a hearing in each county of a service area that is affected by the proposed change(s) in fares or services, provided that such hearings be limited to one hearing per calendar day.
Requires retailers to equip child restraint systems with sensors to notify drivers if a child has been left in the car.
Establishes a tax credit for the cost of veterinary services up to two thousand dollars per year.
Pertains to confinement of animals for food producing purposes; prohibits any person to tether or confine any pig during pregnancy, calf raised for veal, or egg-laying hen who is kept on a farm for all or the majority of any day in a manner that prevents such animal from lying down, standing up and fully extending its limbs and turning around freely; establishes that commission of such crime shall constitute a class A misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for a period not to exceed one year and/or fine not to exceed $1,000.
Relates to prohibiting the sale, trade or bartering or possession with intent to sell, trade or barter of certain wild animals or wild animal products and to the penalties imposed therefor.
Relates to certificate and permit conditions for dormant power generating facilities that are in layup or out of service.
Requires a plain and conspicuous printed list of all ingredients with percentages of the components of diapers sold in the state; imposes a civil penalty of one thousand dollars per package or box on the manufacturer.
