Relates to establishing the standardized testing transparency act; makes an appropriation therefor.
Authorizes municipalities in the county of Suffolk to establish programs for providing real property tax exemptions and abatements to landlords of senior citizens for the units occupied by the senior citizens; requires such abatements be passed through to seniors in the form of rent reductions.
Requires tolls and revenues from certain bridges and tunnels in New York and New Jersey to be used to cover the costs of the construction, maintenance and operation of said bridges and tunnels.
Subject to an appropriation for the 2019-20 state fiscal year, provides that farmers shall receive an exemption from tolls when transporting products to the city of New York for consumption in such city.
Requires the metropolitan transportation authority to continue providing half fare transportation for the commuter rail for persons sixty-five years of age or older and handicapped persons.
Enacts the New York state thruway authority accountability act; names the commissioner of DOT as chair of the thruway authority board; directs the commissioner of DOT to submit a plan to merge the thruway authority into the department of transportation.
Relates to allowing members of the Nassau County auxiliary police force to possess a police baton when authorized by the police commissioner of such county.
Relates to the compensation for injury or damage caused by the intoxication or impairment of ability of a person under the age of twenty-one years; defines impairment of ability.
Requires that prior to the acknowledgement of any application for a payment in lieu of taxes agreement by industrial development agencies, the agency shall notify local school boards and consult with local district superintendents.
Relates to zone pricing of gasoline.
