Relates to mandatory reporting of certain convictions, professional misconduct and/or employment termination

Requires mandatory reporting of certain convictions, professional misconduct and/or employment termination; defines terms; further requires all licensees to report to the education department any conviction of a crime in any jurisdiction within thirty days after the entry of a judgment of conviction; authorizes the commissioner or deputy commissioner for the professions to issue a summary suspension order under certain circumstances; further authorizes the district attorney to give written notice to the department of education upon the conviction of a felony or misdemeanor of any person holding a license pursuant to title eight of the education law; makes related provisions.

Relates to violations of nondisclosure agreements in certain settlement agreements

Prohibits settlement agreements in any claim involving sexual harassment or any other form of discrimination prohibited by law from containing any condition that requires the complainant to pay the defendant liquidated damages in the event that the plaintiff violates any nondisclosure agreement included in such settlement agreement.

Relates to income eligibility under the EPIC program

Provides that an individual shall not become ineligible under the EPIC program due to an increase in social security benefits or a public or private pension where such increase does not exceed the consumer price index.

Authorizes licensed podiatrists to certify a temporary disability for purposes of issuance of special vehicle identification parking permits to persons temporarily unable to ambulate without the aid of an assisting device as long as such condition is something he or she treats in the practice of podiatry.
