Establishes the veteran career assistance program within the SUNY and CUNY systems to provide veterans with assistance in resume writing and employment placement services.
Prohibits all registered organizations, licensees, or permittees or other entities under the jurisdiction of the cannabis board from selling or delivering any edible cannabis products not in child resistant packaging.
Waives the fee for a commercial driver's license for a member of the military or a veteran when they submit an application for military skills test waiver as part of his or her application.
Relates to extreme risk protection orders; defines "exception"; authorizes a police officer or district attorney to file an application for an extreme risk protection order if found that a person meets the requirements of an exception pursuant to section 6340 of the civil practice law and rules; makes related provisions.
