Enacts the New York Santoro provider protection act of 2023; creates the "travel program" to expand access to abortion services for the benefit of out-of-state patients.
Relates to gas station credit cards; requires gas stations charge the same rate for purchases of gasoline made by gas station credit cards as they charge for purchases made by cash.
Requires signs to be posted at gasoline stations for consumers to contact the department of state regarding price or product problems.
Provides that charter school applicants shall first apply to the local board of education of the school district or the community district education council for approval or renewal of a charter.
Prohibits the registration of certain stretch limousines ten or more years of age or with over three hundred fifty-thousand miles.
Establishes additional penalties for firms, partnerships, associations, corporations, and retailers for conducting unlawful cannabis business.
Establishes the volunteer fire departments capital fund under the office of fire prevention and control; appropriates funds for such capital fund.
Prohibits the imposition of a surcharge by a seller in a sales transaction on a holder who uses a debit card.
Establishes the Native American and Other Historically Marginalized Groups Discrimination and Injustice Commission which shall complete a study and submit a report regarding discrimination and injustices historically and currently faced by indigenous people and other historically marginalized groups living within the state.
Provides that spray sprinkler bodies shall meet certain water saving performance standards.
