Readable Legislation Act of 2022 This bill requires every bill or joint resolution that amends an existing section of an act to set forth the entire section, showing proposed changes to that section by appropriate typographical device. This eliminates the current practice of revising or amending a section of an act by mere reference to it.
Halting the Use of Narcotics Through Effective Recovery Act of 2022 or the HUNTER Act of 2022 This bill prohibits the use of federal funds to purchase (or support the purchase of) pipes, syringes, or other paraphernalia that can be used to smoke, inject, or otherwise introduce into the body any controlled substance unlawfully. This includes funds made available through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for overdose prevention, syringe services, and other harm reduction programs.
This bill repeals requirements that condition certain financial assistance for public transportation upon employee protective arrangements approved by the Department of Labor.
Negating Obligations for Transit-Oriented Developments Act or the NO TOD Act This bill restricts the use of certain transportation funds for transit-oriented development projects.
This bill prohibits the Department of Homeland Security from using funds to carry out the Climate Change Professionals Program or any other program, project, or activity relating to climate change.
No Propaganda Act This bill prohibits federal funding of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The bill also rescinds unobligated funding made available to the corporation in specified appropriations acts. (The corporation is a congressionally created nonprofit that supports local public television and radio broadcasting.)
