Citizen Ballot Protection Act This bill allows a state to include on its mail voter registration application form a requirement that the applicant provide proof of U.S. citizenship.

Reducing Farm Input Costs and Barriers to Domestic Production Act This bill addresses various provisions related to the regulation of domestic agricultural products, including by requiring the Department of Agriculture to publish criteria for considering requests from meat and poultry establishments to operate at line speeds in excess of the current regulatory limitations. The bill also nullifies the final rule issued by the Council on Environmental Quality on April 20, 2022, that reinstated various National Environmental Policy Act regulatory provisions.
Wounded Warrior Bill of Rights Act This bill requires the Department of Defense to establish a policy (containing specified elements) to ensure accountability for actions taken under the authorities of the Defense Health Agency and the military departments concerning wounded, ill, and injured members of the Armed Forces during the integrated disability evaluation system process. The bill also specifies that each military department must maintain personnel authority over, and responsibility for, its members during medical evaluation board consideration.
Defending Domestic Orange Juice Production Act This bill requires finished pasteurized orange juice to contain at least 10% by weight of orange juice soluble solids (currently 10.5%), exclusive of the solids of any added optional sweetening ingredients.
This bill establishes a Technology Competitiveness Council. The President shall establish such council within the Executive Office of the President. The council's responsibilities include developing recommendations for the President on U.S. technology competitiveness and technology-related issues, advising and assisting the President in the development and implementation of national technology policy and strategy; and developing and overseeing the implementation of an annual National Technology Strategy. The strategy shall be designed to maintain U.S. leadership in critical and emerging technologies essential to U.S. national security and economic prosperity.
Military Spouse Hiring Act This bill expands the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) to include the hiring of a qualified military spouse. (The WOTC permits employers who hire individuals who are members of a targeted group such as qualified veterans, ex-felons, or long-term unemployment recipients to claim a tax credit equal to a portion of the wages paid to those individuals.) A qualified military spouse is any individual who is certified by the designated local agency as being (as of the hiring date) a spouse of a member of the Armed Forces.
Prohibition of Agricultural Land for the People's Republic of China Act This bill requires the President to prohibit nonresident aliens, foreign businesses, and agents associated with China's government from (1) purchasing agricultural (including ranching) real estate located in the United States, or (2) participating in Department of Agriculture programs that are unrelated to food and safety regulatory requirements.
Stopping Home Office Work's Unproductive Problems Act of 2022 or the SHOW UP Act of 2022 This bill requires each executive agency to reinstate the telework policies that were in place on December 31, 2019. Agencies may not implement expanded telework policies unless the Office of Personnel Management certifies that such policies, among other requirements, will have a positive effect on the agency's mission and operational costs.
Military Spouse Tax Act This bill provides that a spouse of a service member may retain their personal residence or domicile for purposes of taxation. The bill authorizes a service member and the spouse of the member to elect to use the following locations for purposes of taxation: the residence or domicile of the member, the residence or domicile of the spouse, or the permanent duty station of the member.
