A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Senator Michael Griffin for his service to the Indiana Senate and the constituents of Senate District 1.
Provides that if the county executive of a county authorizes the furnishing of financial assistance to a community intellectual and developmental disability center (CIDD), the county fiscal body is required, upon request of the county executive, to annually appropriate an amount of money from the county's general fund that is not less than the amount that would be collected from an annual rate of $0.0025 on each $100 of taxable property within the county to provide the financial assistance to the CIDD. (Under current law, a county fiscal body may (rather than shall) make the annual appropriation.) Requires the county auditor to distribute the amounts appropriated by the county fiscal body to furnish financial assistance to a CIDD first before making any other distributions of appropriated amounts from the county's general fund. Makes corresponding changes to provisions that authorize two or more counties to furnish financial assistance to a CIDD that is organized to provide services in more than one county and that authorize a county to furnish a share of financial assistance to a CIDD in certain circumstances.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring the late Governor Joe Kernan and urging the Indiana Department of Administration to place a memorial bust of Governor Kernan within the State Capitol.
Provides that a unlicensed caregiver is entitled to representation by counsel in a child in need of services (CHINS) proceeding under certain circumstances.
Requires an employer to grant an employee's request for a reasonable accommodation for a known limitation related to the employee's pregnancy absent undue hardship on the employer's business. Provides that an employer may not require an employee to take leave under a leave law or policy adopted by the employer if another reasonable accommodation can be provided for known limitations arising from pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. Establishes a civil action for a violation of these provisions.
Decriminalizes possession of one ounce or less of marijuana.
A SENATE RESOLUTION honoring Indiana's women veterans.
Provides that a person driving a vehicle who approaches a stationary school bus displaying alternately flashing amber lights must take certain actions to yield the right-of-way. Provides that under certain conditions, including the display of alternately flashing amber lights, a school bus driver may load or unload students without extending the school bus stop arm.
