A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the creation of a Medal of Honor Memorial Highway in Indiana.
Provides a tax credit for a taxpayer that enters into an agreement with the Indiana economic development corporation (corporation) for a qualified investment for development of property located on reclaimed coal mining land. Provides for the assignment of the credit by a taxpayer to certain lessees. Provides that a taxpayer is not entitled to the credit if the corporation determines that the taxpayer has substantially reduced or ceased its operations in Indiana in order to relocate them within the mine reclamation site. Provides that Spencer County is subject to a provision of the area planning law concerning urban areas.
Allows the judges of the Gibson superior court and Gibson circuit court to appoint a magistrate. Allows the appointed magistrate for Gibson County to serve both the Gibson superior court and the Gibson circuit court. Allows the judges of the Hamilton circuit and superior courts to jointly appoint an additional magistrate to serve the Hamilton County courts.
Provides that the reading plan established by the department of education, in conjunction with the state board of education, must provide flexibility to school corporations and schools in the manner the school corporation or school offers determinant evaluations. Authorizes school corporations or schools to make determinant evaluations in a manner other than providing a one time assessment. Voids the administrative rule establishing a reading plan and requiring the administration of IREAD 3. Makes conforming amendments.
Requires provider facilities and certain health care practitioners to provide to patients the cost of scheduled health care services.
