A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION urging the creation of a Medal of Honor Memorial Highway in Indiana.
Provides that in order for a precinct committeeman or a precinct vice committeeman (exercising the precinct committeeman's proxy) to participate in a caucus to fill a vacancy, the committeeman or vice committeeman must be entitled to vote for the office for which a successor is to be selected in the caucus. Makes a technical correction.
Provides that a state agency or political subdivision may not adopt or enforce a law in certain instances as it relates to building products, materials, and aesthetic methods for Class 1 and Class 2 structures.
Creates a process by which a township can elect to disannex from an existing school corporation and annex to another existing school corporation.
Provides that except as otherwise specifically provided by a statute, a local public question may be placed on the ballot only at the following elections: (1) A general election. (2) A municipal general election, but only if the election district for the public question is contained entirely within a municipality. Makes conforming changes.
Provides that a high school diploma (diploma), or its equivalent, or credential issued by a person who administers a nonpublic secondary school that employs less than one employee is legally sufficient to demonstrate that the recipient of the diploma, or its equivalent, or credential meets the requirement to obtain the diploma, or its equivalent, or credential. Provides that a state or local agency or institution of higher education in Indiana may not reject or otherwise treat a person differently based solely on the source of a diploma, or its equivalent, or credential. Provides that a person who administers a nonpublic secondary school has the authority to execute any document required by law, rule, regulation, or policy to provide certain evidence regarding a child's education.

Recognizing FIRST Indiana Robotics and FIRST Indiana Robotics teams.
Provides that the polls close at 8 p.m. (Under current law, the polls must close at 6 p.m.) Provides that the adoption, recession, or amendment of a vote center plan may be taken by a majority vote of all members of a county election board. (Current law requires such action to be taken by the unanimous vote of a county election board.)
