Amends the Illinois Dental Practice Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning social security numbers on license applications.
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. In a Section concerning the commercial distribution fee, provides that, beginning January 1, 2008 and through December 31, 2013, for each registration year, the owner of a vehicle for which biodiesel has been purchased during the previous registration year is entitled to a reduction of the fee for that vehicle. Sets forth the amount of the reduction based upon the amount of biodiesel purchased. Makes technical changes. Effective immediately.
Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides for an annual stipend of $6,500 for each supervisor of assessments to be paid by the State. Deletes current provisions allowing a supervisor of assessments to receive additional compensation based on performance. Effective immediately.
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that the annual fee applicable to discharges under an NPDES permit for mines producing coal is $1,000 (now, $5,000). Effective July 1, 2007.
Amends the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Illinois Educational Labor Mediation Roster.
Creates the MRSA Screening, Prevention, and Reporting Act for State Residential Facilities. Requires State residential facilities to establish an MRSA control program. Defines "State residential facility" to mean: (i) Department of Human Services operated residential facilities, including State mental health hospitals and other facilities; (ii) Department of Veterans' Affairs operated veterans homes; (iii) Department of Corrections operated correctional centers, work camps or boot camps, and adult transition centers; and (iv) Department of Juvenile Justice operated juvenile centers and boot camps. Sets forth required features of the MRSA control program, including screening and surveillance, reporting, prevention, infection control, and treatment. Includes requirements for training of employees and others. Effective immediately.
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that, if a person is currently serving on active-duty in the U.S. Armed Forces or Reserves and has a valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card, or the equivalent from another state, then there is no fee for a hunting license. Requires verification of active-duty service.
Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the purpose of the Act.
