FRACKING-RADIOACTIVITY

Amends the Hydraulic Fracturing Regulatory Act. Provides that the Director of Natural Resources shall suspend acceptance, approval, and issuance of all new permits for high volume horizontal hydraulic fracturing wells and operations or horizontal drilling wells with fracturing operations for extraction of oil, liquid natural gas, and natural gas on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 98th General Assembly. Creates the Radioactivity in Fracturing Waste Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall investigate and write a report outlining the effects of high volume horizontal hydraulic fracturing operations, horizontal drilling with fracturing operations for extraction of oil, liquid natural gas, and natural gas, or both in relation to TENORM and low level radioactive waste. Effective immediately.

CONAMEND- LEGISLATURE LIMITS

Proposes to amend the Legislature Article of the Illinois Constitution. Provides that a person who has served 2 consecutive 2-year terms as Speaker of the House of Representatives, President of the Senate, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, or Minority Leader of the Senate may not be reelected to the same office for a period of 4 years after his or her second term expires. Service before the second Wednesday in January of 2015 shall not be considered in the calculation of a person's service. Effective upon being declared adopted and applies to service on or after the second Wednesday in January, 2015.

MUNI CD-TAX-TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that home rule municipalities may impose a tax on tobacco products, however measured.
