Amends the School Code. With regard to recognition standards for student performance and school improvement, prohibits the State Board of Education from having separate performance standards for students based on race or ethnicity.
Amends the Public Building Commission Act. Makes a technical change to a Section concerning the short title.
Amends Public Acts 98-679, 98-680, and 98-681. Adds supplemental appropriations to various agencies for personal services and State contributions to Social Security. Effective immediately.
Mourns the death of Wilburn "Mac" Sanders.
Mourns the death of Kevin Irving.
Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the School Code's construction.
Amends the Cemetery Protection Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.
Amends the Property Tax Code. In a Section concerning refunds for erroneous assessments or overpayments, provides as follows: If the right to a refund arose on or after January 1, 1992, a claim for refund shall not be allowed unless a petition is filed with the circuit court or a claim is made to the county collector within 20 years after the date the right to a refund arose. Provides that each county collector must maintain payment image records for a minimum of 20 years after the date of payment.
Amends the Township Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the use of terms.
