ABLE ACCOUNTS-CLEAN UP

Amends the State Treasurer Act. Provides that the State Treasurer may accept contributions for ABLE accounts once the Internal Revenue Service has issued either interim guidance or final regulations (currently, only final regulations). Provides that ABLE accounts may also be established for residents of other states (currently, only residents of Illinois). Makes technical corrections. Effective immediately.

KU KLUX KLAN - TERRORIST GROUP

Urges the U.S. Congress to recognize the Ku Klux Klan as a terrorist organization and pursue dismantling this domestic terrorist hate group with the same fervor used to protect the United States from other manifestations of terrorism.

NC/MS - REPEAL ANTI-LGBT LAWS

Affirms our support for protecting and advancing the constitutional rights and equitable treatment of all and our opposition to discrimination, prejudice, homophobia, and transphobia. Strongly urges the North Carolina General Assembly to repeal the "Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act" and for the Mississippi Legislature to repeal the "Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act" at the earliest opportunity. Encourages all businesses providing public accommodations in North Carolina and Mississippi to demonstrate their support for the dignity of all people by openly welcoming LGBT people to their places of business and by providing gender non-specific bathroom facilities for their customers and employees wherever practicable. Urges the Governor to prohibit all non-essential State travel to North Carolina and Mississippi until those states take the proper measures to repeal these laws.

CNTY CD-WILL DEPOSITORIES

Amends the Counties Code. Provides that a county recorder may implement a county will depository and if so created shall provide a form affidavit for a depositor of a will to file with the deposited will. States the requirements of the form affidavit. Provides for the county recorders duties as it relates to acceptance of wills, storage of wills, release of wills, and destruction of wills. Provides for different fees the county recorder may charge.
