Authorizes the Director of Natural Resources to convey at fair market value certain property in Peoria County to the Princeville Family Health Center.
Amends the Film Production Services Tax Credit Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning applications for certification.
Amends the Illinois Good Samaritan Act. Provides that the immunity for civil damages provided for services performed without compensation at free medical clinics also applies to physicians and other health care professionals that provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or advice at federally qualified health care centers without fee or compensation. Makes changes in the definition of "free medical clinic".
Amends the Surface-Mined Land Conservation and Reclamation Act. Provides that it shall be unlawful for any operator to engage in surface mining where the operation will affect more than 2 (rather than 10) acres during the permit year without first obtaining from the Department a permit to do so. Effective immediately.
Amends the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Opposes any efforts to delay implementation of the MDS long term care reimbursement system and efforts to increase the nursing home provider bed tax.
Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning additional licensing requirements.
Amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act in the Illinois Municipal Code. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the short title.
