Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Provides that the Division of Probation Services shall establish training standards for continuing education of probation officers and supervisors and broaden access to available training programs. Effective immediately.
Declares June 22, 2017 and 2018 as "Illinois Community Living Day" in the State of Illinois.
Amends the Illinois Nuclear Facility Safety Act. Makes a technical change in a Section on legislative findings.
Amends the Election Code. Provides that, if a deviation from the requirements for petitions under this Code is minor or technical in nature and does not (1) defeat the thrust, purpose, and effect of the Code or affect the intent to guarantee a fair and honest election or (2) prejudice public interests, the defect in the petitions shall not render the petition invalid. Effective immediately.
Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act. Provides that unless otherwise expressly provided for in the Act, records and communications made or created in the course of providing mental health or developmental disabilities services are protected from disclosure regardless of whether the records and communications are made or created in the course of a therapeutic relationship.
Amends various Acts relating to the governance of public universities in Illinois. Requires the governing board of each public university to develop and maintain a written policy concerning the credits that the university will award for courses on a joint services transcript. Defines "joint services transcript". Effective January 1, 2017.
Creates the Illinois Cooperative Act. Repeals the Co-operative Act on January 1, 2020. Provides for the organization, operation, and regulation of cooperatives. Sets forth requirements for articles of incorporation, amendments, number of incorporators, and voting rights. Provides for regulation by the Secretary of State. Sets forth requirements for directors. Defines terms. Provides for liquidation, consolidation, and dissolution of cooperatives.
Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the Department of Juvenile Justice School District.
Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "33 1/3%".
