Amends the Wildlife Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning deer hunting.
Amends the Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act. Provides that the Clinical Psychologists Licensing and Disciplinary Board shall grant certification as prescribing psychologists to doctoral level psychologists licensed under the Act. Provides application requirements for certification as a prescribing psychologist. Provides that the Board shall establish a method for the renewal every 2 years of prescribing psychologist certificates. Provides procedures for safety and record keeping. Provides that when a psychologist is authorized to prescribe controlled substances, a prescribing psychologist shall file, in a timely manner, any individual Drug Enforcement Agency registrations and identification numbers with the Board. Requires certain communication between the Board and the State Board of Pharmacy. Provides requirements for licensure by endorsement. Defines related terms. Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. Includes prescribing psychologist in the definition of "prescriber".
Amends the Illinois Dental Practice Act. Adds a provision that allows dentists with the appropriate training to administer vaccinations to patients 10 years of age and older pursuant to a valid prescription or standing order of a physician. Provides that vaccinations may only be administered for influenza, hepatitis B, HPV, and shingles. Effective immediately.
Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a county or municipality may not require a law enforcement officer to issue a specific number of citations or warnings within a designated period of time. Provides that a county or municipality may not, for purposes of evaluating a law enforcement officer's job performance, compare the number of citations or warnings issued by the law enforcement officer to the number of citations or warnings issued by any other law enforcement officer who has similar job duties. Limits home rule powers. Amends the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act. Provides that it shall be an unfair labor practice to require a peace officer to perform a duty that conflicts with the provisions of this amendatory Act.
Amends the Supreme Court Historic Preservation Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.
Amends the Workers' Compensation Act. Provides that there is no right to recover damages for injury or death, other than the compensation provided under the Act, from a service organization that is wholly owned by the employer or the employer's insurer or broker and that provides safety service, advice, or recommendations (rather than from the a service organization retained by the employer or the employer's insurer or broker to provide safety service, advice, or recommendations). Effective immediately.
Recognizes Navistar, Inc. for its initiative in assuming responsibility for the site environmental remediation project of the former Wisconsin Steel Works. Commends Navistar and its project team for steadfast commitment, engineering excellence, and well-attuned stakeholder engagement which resulted in the remarkable success of the project. Commends the staff of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Site Remediation Program for outstanding civil service. States the belief that the environmental cleanup of the Former Wisconsin Steel Works site exemplifies a high benchmark in Illinois for the collaboration of corporate citizenship, federal guidance, State programming, city interaction, applied technical excellence, and fully-connected community relations.
